Armed forces have been deployed after a clash during the NCP rally in Gopalganj.

Violence erupted at a rally by the National Citizen Party (NCP) led by youth in Gopalganj city of Bangladesh on Wednesday. Four people died in police firing during the violence. 9 people are injured by Gholi. Gopalganj is the hometown of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

According to Bangladesh’s Prothom Alo News Agency, supporters of Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League clashed with the police during the NCP rally. According to eyewitnesses, Awami League supporters attacked the police, police, army and paramilitary force with sticks, sticks, brick and stones.

The protesters also vandalized the vehicles of the police and the local administrative head. Also attacked the NCP convoy, due to which the security forces had to fire. Security forces threw tear gas shells and sound grenades to disperse the crowd.

The office of Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor running the interim government in Bangladesh, said that the next 22 -hour curfew has been ordered in Gopalganj from 8 pm on Wednesday night. Yunus said that the culprits of the attack on NCP will not be spared.
