The left engine of United Airlines aircraft ‘Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner’ in the US caused a malfunction during the flight. The plane was at an altitude of 5000 feet at the time of the accident, after which the pilots sent a message of “Medade” (Emergency).

The accident took place on 25 July, the news of which has now come to light. The pilots handled the situation in collaboration with the Air Traffic Controller (ATC).

According to flightware, the plane remained in the air for 2 hours 38 minutes. This evacuated the fuel by circling the north-west of the capital Washington, so that the weight for landing could be reduced.

The plane crashed by Air India in Ahmedabad on 12 June was of the Boeing company ‘787-8 Dreamliner’. Then the aircraft crashed only two minutes after ‘takeoff. 270 people died in this accident.

There was no injury in the accident

The pilots of United Airlines sought permission to vacate fuel at an altitude of 6,000 feet. The ATC then guided them to maintain safe distance from other flights.

After emptying the fuel, the pilots sought permission for landing at the runway 19 center with the help of the Instrument Landing System (ILS).

After landing, the aircraft could not automatically withdraw from the runway due to a bad engine and had to remove it. Till Monday, the aircraft stood at the Washington Dules Air Port.

No one was hurt in this incident. United Airlines and air officials have started investigating this technical fault.

Boeing’s landing gear failed two days ago

The takeoff had to be stopped due to the landing gear failure of American Airlines ‘Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft’ on Saturday at Danver International Airport in the US. During this time there was a fire in the back of the aircraft.

This flight was going to Miami. The aircraft had a total of 173 passengers and 6 crew members. All were taken out through emergency slides.

6 people suffered minor injuries in the accident, one of whom was admitted to the hospital. FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and Airlines are investigating the case.
