US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the US is working on an agreement to achieve access to the Indian market. In addition, he announced a new trade agreement with Indonesia. Under this, the US will impose 19% tariffs on goods coming from Indonesia.
Trump said about India- We are going to get access to the market in Indian. Earlier we had no access to these countries. Our people could not do business there. Now we are reaching through tariffs. “
Trump said that a trade agreement has been signed after talking to Indonesia President Joko Vidodo. Under this agreement, Indonesia will not impose any tariff on the US import, while the US will impose 19% tariffs on Indonesia’s exports.

Trump made this statement while going to Pennsylvania. During this time, the White House press secretary Caroline Levitt was also present with him.
Indonesia will impose zero tariff on America
Trump told reporters- we signed a compromise with Indonesia. I spoke to his very popular and strong President. Now we will get full access in Indonesia. We will not give any tariff.
He further said- Indonesia is giving us access to our market, which was never before. This is the largest part of the agreement. Instead, they will give 19% tariffs, and we will not give anything. This is a good deal for both sides.
Trump described the agreement on his social media platform Truth Social social.
He said that Indonesia would buy $ 15 billion energy, $ 4.5 billion agricultural products and 50 Boeing Jet aircraft from the US under this agreement.

Trump said- this agreement is sure
Trump also stated that Indonesia has high quality copper (copper), which will be beneficial for the US. However, the Indonesia government had not made any official announcement in this regard till Tuesday afternoon.
According to CNN, last year Indonesia exported a copper of $ 3 million to the US, while Chile exported $ 60 million and Canada exported copper of $ 40 million.
Two days ago threatened 100% tariff on Russia
Trump on Monday threatened to put a heavy tariff to pressurize Russia to end the war with Ukraine. Trump had said- I use trade for many things, but it is great to end war.
Trump had said that if Russian President Vladimir Putin did not compromise a peace with Ukraine in 50 days, it would be charged 100%. Trump said that this would be ‘secondary tariff’, which means that the countries who buy oil from Russia, such as India and China, will also be banned.

At the time when Trump threatened to put 100% tariff on Russia, NATO general secretary Mark Roote was also present with him.
Trump said- I don’t trust anyone completely
Talking to the BBC on Tuesday, Trump said that he is unhappy with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but his relationship with him is not completely broken. When he was asked about the confidence on Putin, Trump said, “I don’t trust anyone completely.”
