India’s tech sector may affect
India’s IT sector may be affected by this statement. There are millions of employees of Google, Microsoft, and other tech companies in India, and these companies run large offices in cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.
Apart from this, according to US Citizenship and Immigration Services in 2023, 72% H-1B visas were received by Indians, mostly in areas such as data science, AI, and cyber security.
Trump’s policy can make the H-1B visa rules more strict, which will make it difficult for Indian tech professionals to get jobs in America. Also, the pressure on IT companies and startups will increase due to reduced new recruitments in India.

I do not want you to produce in India. If you want to take care of India, then you can build in India, because India is one of the most tariff countries in the world. It is very difficult to sell in India and has offered us a deal. Under this, they are ready to recover any tariff from us.
