There was a terrorist attack on a Catholic Church in Komanda city of Eastern Dr Congo early Sunday. 38 people have died in this attack. The attack took place when people were joining the prayer meeting in the church.

Attacked people spending night in church

“The rebels attacked the Christians who were spending the night in the Catholic Church,” a human rights activist Christoff Munyanderu, who was at the scene in Komanda, told the media.

In Komanda, a citizen Doodone Durontabo told AP, ‘More than 30 people were shot inside and outside and we have seen three burnt bodies and several houses burning. The bodies of the victims are still on the spot, and the volunteers are preparing to bury them.
