Maninder Singh, son of a middle -class zamindar family in Ludhiana, Punjab, died in a road accident in Edmonton, Canada. The accident occurred when a truck driver suddenly took off his car on the road, causing Maninder Singh’s trolley to hit a truck.

Maninder’s father Kuldeep Singh and brother Jatinder Singh said that he received this information through the village sarpanch Raghbir Singh at around 4.30 am. Relatives called Canada and told that the front of Maninder Singh’s trolley was completely broken at around 12 noon yesterday. Maninder’s head and body suffered internal injuries.
