China said on Monday that the BRICS group does not want any kind of conflict. The statement came after the threat of US President Donald Trump.
Trump wrote on Truth Social on 6 July that whatever country will associate himself with anti -America BRICs policies, 10% additional tariffs will be imposed on them. No one will get a discount in this.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said-

BRICS is a platform for cooperation and development, it is not against any country. It is wrong to use tariffs for political pressure. There is no winner from trade and tariff is no way.
Actually, BRICS criticized the tariff without naming America. It also expressed concern over the damage to world trade. The group said that this supply would destabilize the chain.
Trump considered this statement against the US and warned the BRICS countries to suffer economic consequences.

Trump will send the first tariff letter today
US President Donald Trump said on Truth on Sunday that he would send the first letter of tariffs and trade agreements to 12 countries on Monday, which would be before the time limit of the tariff to be effective.
Trump said, “I am happy to announce that US tariff letters will be sent with countries around the world from 12:00 pm on Monday, July 7.” The new tariffs will be effective from August 1.
Trump announced a heavy tariff on all trading partners in April, after which 90 days exemption was given. The discount ends on 9 July. Trump said that if new trade agreements are not made, the old tariffs would be applied again.

China appealed to BRICS countries to improve global order
Chinese has appealed to BRICS countries to improve global order (global rule). Chinese Prime Minister Lee Kyang said during the 17th BRICS conference on Sunday that BRICS countries should improve global rule to create a better world.
He said that China, along with the rest of BRICS countries, is committed to establishing a just, equal, effective and systematic global rule.
BRICS condemns the US-Israel attack on Iran
At the BRICS 2025 summit in Brazil, 10 member countries described the US and Israel’s Iran’s Iran’s military and nuclear facilities illegal.
BRICs in its joint declaration condemned these attacks and demanded to follow international law. In addition, the group expressed concern over the Gaza war and increasing violence in the region, as well as condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. - New members and partners countries: Indonesia was made a full member of the BRICS. Bellars, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Nigeria, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Uganda, and Uzbekistan were included as the BRICS partner country.
- The role of India and Brazil in the United Nations: China and Russia supported the major role of India and Brazil in the United Nations, especially the Security Council (UNSC).
- Climate Change and COP30: BRICS countries committed to the success of COP30, which would help implement the UNFCCCC and Paris Agreement. India’s candidature for hosting COP33 in 2028 was welcomed.
- BRICS chairmanship: Brazil’s 2025 chairmanship was appreciated. India was supported in 2026 for the BRICS chairmanship and hosting the 18th BRICS Summit.
- Condemnation of illegal sanctions: BRICS countries condemned unilateral sanctions that are against international law and United Nations Charter
- Global Trade: Concerns were expressed over the decisions of unilateral tariffs, which are against the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules. Parashadars, and inclusive trade systems were supported, including uninteresting discrimination behavior from developing countries.
- Solidarity against terrorism: Terrorism was denied linking to any religion, country, civilization or ethnic group. On April 22, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and the Israeli attack on Iran was strongly condemned.
