The International Geeta Festival, celebrated by the Gita Gyan Sansthanam of Kurukshetra, Haryana, will not be celebrated in America this time. Now the institute is looking for those countries where there is an on-aurial visa facility and there is no diplomatic interruption in the event.

Geeta Manishi Swami Gyanananda, head of Gita Gyan Sansthanam, said that preparations for Geeta Festival in America had been completed. There was talk with many institutions there. In the US, both the official and informal levels were agreed to organize. But in recent times, problems in the US had problems due to internal disturbance and global diplomatic. Hence the event in America has been postponed.
Talk on many countries Swami Gyanananda said that however, there is a possibility of organizing in the US next year, provided the circumstances there be favorable. At present, the institution is in touch with 2-3 countries where visas can be easily found. The time is short for this, so priority is being given to countries where visas are on-aurial and there is no global or diplomatic problem.
Mou with 2 universities
Swami Gyanananda said that Jio Geeta has signed MOU with Kurukshetra University and Guru Jambheshwar University of Hisar. Under this, some diploma and degree courses have been started on Bhagwat Gita. However, Jio Geeta is going to start a short course at its level as well.
