Trump is on a four -day informal visit on his golf resort located in Turnberry, Scotland. He made this comment at a press conference here.
US President Donald Trump has once again attacked London Mayor Sadiq Khan. During a press conference in Scotland with Britain’s Prime Minister Kir Stmper, Trump called Khan a nasti person i.e. disgusting person and criticized his functioning.
A reporter asked Trump if he would come to London during his state visit in September, he said
I am not a fan of your mayor. I think they have done a very bad job.
On his statement, the British Prime Minister Kir Stmper immediately said that he (Sadiq Khan) is my friend. However, Trump remained adamant on his statement and reiterated that he had done a very bad job. But I will definitely come to London.

Trump and Sadiq Khan’s relationship already
This is not the first time Trump has attacked Sadiq Khan. Even in 2019, he called Khan a failed man and advised him to pay attention to crime in London.
Even then Trump was on a state visit to Britain and he had targeted Khan on Twitter just before coming to London.
Trump has also challenged Khan for the first IQ Test and has also criticized his response after the 2017 London Bridge attack.
Trump had accused Khan of failing to deal with terrorism in his previous term and called him a stone cold loser (absolutely failed man) and very foolish.
In 2016, when Trump banned the entry of citizens of some Muslim countries into America, Sadiq Khan also opposed it.

Khan has retaliated on Trump’s statement. On Monday evening, Sadiq Khan spokesperson issued a statement saying, “
“The mayor is happy that Trump wants to come to the greatest city in the world. If he comes to London, we will see that our diversity makes us weakened, but makes us strong. Not poor, but makes rich.”
Prior to 5 November 2024, in a podcast, Sadiq Khan said that Trump was targeting him due to his religion and race. Khan said,
They have targeted me because of my color and religion.
However, in an interview to AFP in December 2024, Khan said that the American public has given a clear message and now everyone should respect the election results.

Born in 1970, Sadiq Khan is the first Muslim mayor of London. They are originally Pakistani. His father worked as a driver in Pakistan. He came to England some time later. By the age of 24, he lived life in a very poor situation. The father used to drive red bus. But he was interested in politics from the beginning.
At the age of 15, he joined the labor party. Career started as a Human Right Activist. In 2005, he became an MP from Labor Party for the first time. In 2016, he contested the post of Mayor of London for the first time and won by a big margin.
