Crime Branch caught foreign smugglers.
Chandigarh Crime Branch has caught 3 foreign nationals and 2 local suppliers, busting an international drug racket. 70 grams of cocaine, 67 grams of amphetamine and 50.88 grams of heroin have been recovered from them. Also like BMW and Honda Accord

SP Crime Jasbir Singh said that this gang used to supply drugs to the youth of Tricity at the behest of the handlers sitting abroad. He was arrested by the Crime Branch team under the supervision of DSP Dheeraj.

First case – Network of Nigerian smugglers
Police arrested Nigerian citizen Emoreu Demian from Kharar, from which 62.60 grams of amphetamine was recovered. Based on interrogation, the police arrested two more foreign smugglers:
Okoe Namdi (caught from Delhi): 35.80 grams of cocaine, 5.73 grams of amphetamine and a Honda Accord Car recovered
Towaf Yusuf (Arrested from Kharar): 34.85 grams cocaine recovered
The way these smugglers work was extremely high -tech. They did not talk directly among themselves, but the handlers sitting abroad instructed them through WhatsApp. Used to sell drugs from Delhi and sell it in Tricity. Many Nigerian students associated with them are also on the radar of the police.

Second case- Local supplier roaming in BMW
In another action, the police stopped the BMW car and arrested 2 local smugglers aboard:
Shiva Thakur (resident of Chandigarh): 50.88 grams of heroin recovered. In the past, many intoxication cases have gone to jail.
Jaisal Bains (resident of Punjab): BA has studied English Honors. This drug money used to eruct the scanner. Both accused are friends from 11th grade.
