The Punjab Police has achieved great success. The Amritsar Rural Police has exposed a smuggling gang associated with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI with the help of central agencies.

The gang was involved in sending weapons and drugs to India. The police have arrested 5 people in this action. A lot of weapons, bullets and cash have been recovered from them.
Initial investigation has revealed that he had direct contact with ISI agents sitting in Pakistan.
Jaggu’s colleague had to be assigned a consignment
The caught consignment was to be handed over to Nava alias Nav Pandori, who is considered a close partner of the notorious gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. This makes it clear that this network is part of the nexus of terrorism and gangster gangs.

- Two lock 9mm pistol (including 4 magazines)
- 90 live cartridges of AK Rifle
- 10 live cartridges of 9mm
- 7.50 lakh drug money
- A car and three mobile phones
Police action will continue
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the police is committed to root out crimes like terrorism, organized crime and smuggling in the state. The police also said that such actions will continue further to maintain peace, security and harmony in the state.
