Air India flight AI-171 crashed on 12 June. 270 people died in this accident.

The families of 52 British citizens killed in the Air India plane crash going from Ahmedabad to London are expressing serious concern about the identity of bodies. According to Stone Law of Britain’s legal firm, two of the 12 bodies sent from India were found to be incorrect.

Accordingly, doubts are being raised on the identity of 40 bodies, while many bodies have also been cremated. British advocate James Heli-Prat has appealed to India’s investigating agency Aaib to give important evidence such as cockpit recording and fuel-cutoff to families.

The process of DNA matching has accelerated after the recent discussion on the issue between British PM Keir Starmer and PM Modi. Some bodies are expected to be confirmed soon to match the DNA.

At the same time, the family is also demanding clarity on the compensation plan of ₹ 500 crore by the Tata group. Family members have also demanded transparency in the investigation.

The plane of Air India took place on 12 June in Ahmedabad. A total of 270 people died in the accident. The aircraft had 242 people aboard. In the medical hostel where the aircraft fell, 29 people died.

Human Factor Specialist also involved in investigation

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol told in Parliament on Thursday that Human Factor Specialists have also been included in the investigation of Ahmedabad plane crash. They analyze the causes of accidents and other security related events and suggest changes in the design to prevent them.

The Union Minister said that all aspects are being seen in the investigation. This decision is important because the American Media House, Wall Street General, on July 17, feared that the aircraft pilot Captain Sumit Sabharwal had stopped fuel supply in both engines.

However, India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) and the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) had denied the report as false. Aaib had said that investigation is going on and it would not be right to reach any conclusion.
