A British parliamentary committee said on Thursday that some foreign governments are trying to intimidate people living in the UK and suppress their voice. The name of 12 countries including India has been named in the report called ‘Trans National Republic in the UK’ of this committee. India has not yet given any official answer to this.
The report said that incidents of targeting people living in Britain are increasing by foreign governments. The committee described these activity as a threat to human rights and demanded the British government to take action on it.
The evidence published with the report mentions the terrorist organization ‘Sikh for Justice’ (SFJ) in India’s case. It is a pro -Khalistan organization, which India has declared “illegal organization” under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
