Saurabh Anand, a citizen of Indian origin in Australia on Saturday, was attacked by five minors outside the Central Square Shopping Center in Melbourne. Among the attackers, Saurabh cut his wrist from his hand.
Saurabh said that in the evening he was returning from the pharmacy with medicine. During this time, a friend was talking on the phone, when the five boys attacked him from behind.
One boy searched his pocket, the other beat him with a hand, and the third put a knife on his neck. When Saurabh raised his hand in defense, he cut his wrist with the same knife.
Saurabh told in the hospital that- I just remember the pain, my hand was just hanging from a thread. The attack has caused his spinal cord fracture break and head injuries.
Saurabh is currently under Sirius Medical Surveillance.
Nothing can be said about recovery right now
Passengers heard Saurabh’s screams and called the Emergency Service. At the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the surgeons added his hand after several hours of surgery, but initially there was talk of cutting it. Their wrists and screws have been put in hand.
Saurabh is under Sirius medical surveillance. Doctors say that nothing can be said about their recovery right now. Saurabh said- I cannot shake my hand, just feel pain.
4 accused in 5 of the attack detained
Police have detained four of the five accused. A 14 -year -old accused are accused of serious injuries, robbery and illegal attacks. At the same time, two 15 years and another 14-year-old accused have also been accused.
All these will appear in court in August. Saurabh expressed grief that two accused got bail. He said, “I want justice. I want this incident to cause change.
