Senior officer killed in the attack, Major Rabi Nawaz.
In Balochistan, 20 Pakistani soldiers, including senior officials, Major Rabi Nawaz, were reported to be killed in the rebel attack on the Pakistani Army. These attacks took place in the last 12 hours in Avaran, Quetta and Kalat districts.
According to media reports, these attacks were carried out by targeting military posts. However, no group has taken responsibility for these attacks yet, but Fitna al -Hindustan and Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) are suspected to be involved.
At the same time, a passenger bus was attacked on Wednesday in Kalat, Balochistan, killing 3 people and injured 13 people. According to Pakistani media Dan, the attackers stopped the bus by ambush in the Negara area on the Quetta-Karachi highway and fired indiscriminately.

Chief Minister blamed Fitna al Hindustan terrorist organization responsible
Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said that security forces and rescue teams immediately reached the spot and a campaign has been started in search of the attackers. He said that the attackers attacked both sides of the road.
Chief Minister Mirza Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack and described it as the work of Fitna al Hindustan terrorist organizations. He said- Attack on innocent citizens is a serious crime.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack took place on the day when security forces killed three militants associated with Fitna Al Hindustan in Avaran area. In this, Major Syed Rab Nawaz Tariq, an officer of the Pakistani Army, was killed.

Balochistan is the most violent, 35 attacks in May
The Report of Islamabad -based think tank Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security (PITSS) reports that a total of 85 terrorist attacks in the country took place in May 2025. Balochistan was the most affected among them.
There were 35 attacks alone in which 51 people were killed and more than 100 injured.
Among them, the number of citizens is the highest. 30 common people, 18 security personnel and 3 terrorists were killed in the attacks.
9 people killed in bus attack in Balochistan, Pakistan
A passenger bus going from Quetta to Lahore in Pakistan’s Balochistan province late on July 10 was stopped by armed men and kidnapped 9 passengers and fryed them with bullets.
The incident occurred near Jhob in Sir Dhakh area of North Balochistan, which has been the center of extremists activities for a long time.
According to Jhob’s Assistant Commissioner Naveen Alam, the attackers removed the passengers from the bus, identified and then shot 9 people.
Baloch leader announced independence from Pakistan
Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch announced the independence of Balochistan from Pakistan in April. He cited human rights abuses, kidnapping and violence of Baloch people for decades.
Mir Yar Baloch said in the X post- The people of Balochistan have given their “national decision” and the world should not remain silent anymore. Let us support us.
He wrote that Baloch people are on the streets and it is his national decision that Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan and the world cannot be a more silent spectator.
He also sought recognition and support for the independence of Balochistan from India and Global community.

Bla is fighting for Balochistan’s independence
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is an organization fighting for the freedom of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was established in the early 2000s and has also been declared a terrorist organization by many countries.
BLA claims that Balochistan’s natural resources are being exploited and the rights of Baloch people have been taken away. This organization has been targeting CPEC like Pakistani Army, Government and Chinese Projects.
