The survey also revealed that 56% of women who faced any kind of physical or sexual violence, neither asked for help nor talked to anyone about it. The reason for this is the fear of social slander, economic dependence and lack of information.

According to the survey, 18% of girls aged 20-24 years get married before 18 years and 3.6% before 15 years. This stops their education and their health, welfare and safety are in danger.
These include anemia, malnutrition, adolescent pregnancy, long delivery, obsthetric fistula and even death risk.
