The Indian Embassy in Iran has issued a travel advisory for citizens of India late on Tuesday night. The Indian Embassy has advised people to avoid non-essential travel in Iran.

The Indian Embassy said on X, “In view of security related developments in the last several weeks, Indian citizens are advised to avoid traveling unnecessarily to Iran.”

At the same time, people were also advised to keep an eye on the latest developments of Iran and follow the advisory issued by Indian officials. Indian citizens who are already in Iran and have to leave from there were asked to use commercial flights and boat ferry service.
