A passenger bus going from Quetta to Lahore in Pakistan’s Balochistan province late on Thursday night was stopped by armed men and abducted 9 passengers and later furious with bullets.

The incident occurred near Jhob in Sir Dhakh area of ​​North Balochistan. Which has been the center of activities of extremists for a long time.

According to Jhob’s Assistant Commissioner Naveen Alam, the attackers removed the passengers from the bus, identified and then shot 9 people.

Alam said that all these bodies have been sent to Rekhani Hospital in Barkhan district. The method of murder suggests that the attackers had already planned and were doing targeted killing.

Government is telling India -backed attack

The provincial government of Balochistan is calling it an India -backed attack. The government has spoken of being the hand of Fitna Al-Hindustan behind this attack.

The Government of Pakistan has named Fitna-al-Hindustan to all rebel organizations in Balochistan in May. Among them, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is the largest and major organization.

Balochistan is the most violent, 35 attacks in May

The Report of Islamabad -based think tank Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security (PITSS) reports that a total of 85 terrorist attacks in the country took place in May 2025. Balochistan was the most affected among them.

What is Baloch Liberation Army

Bla is the largest Baloch militant group in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It has been revolting against the Pakistani government for decades.

The group is demanding to exclude China from Balochistan’s independence and its areas. BLA has carried out several attacks targeting the Pakistani Security Forces and China’s CPEC project.

Most of the Baloch people living in Balochistan are angry with the Pakistani government. These people say that the government is incorrectly using the natural resources of their areas.
